Joe Duke won saturdays match.
The match was full with 24 shooters. Quite a few of us drove 5 to 6 hours to get their, and as usual it was worth it. 101 degrees in the shade.
I don't have all the results. Should be on their web site soon.
Here's a few pictures.

mike and all who attended

It was hot and I did have a great time, but because of the heat I have changed the date of the WVVFD from Aug. 8th to Oct 10th. You can send in your entry money with that date change in mind. I also learned to not drag my big ugly, way to heavy, gun out of town. Mike it was great to meet your son. I also am going to have to really get a great cook to compete with the feed the Duke's put on.

was this 600 or 1000......how many 17 lbs rifles ?

thanks
mike in co

Shooting at clay pigeons at 400 yds. There is no weight or sight restrictions at this match. There was 6 rifles over 25 pounds and around 15 were probably right at 17 to 19 pounds and a couple were 10-15 pounds. Just guessing from seeing these same rifles at several matches. One 300 Weatherby was 60 pounds.
