Twist for 30 BR Kreiger BBL. using 115 Eubers--

What twist 30 BR Kreiger BBl. seems to be doing best shooting 115 Euber bullets, 17 or 18 twist... Or what BBl. brand & twist seems to be prefered...:confused:

either or, they both work fine! I think there are more 17 twist being used, but I know quite a few who are using 18 twist and they are shooting great. If you get a good barrel in either you will be happy. Steve
 
I have been shooting both

for a few years and can't tell any difference between the two. The difference one can tell is when one of them is a HUMMER; they don't show up very often but they sometimes occureven in 1-15's also ! The slower twist barrels simply cause less torque so are easier on the bags, end of story. The second best barrel I have owned is a 1-18 PacNor. I foolishly sold it as I did the BEST barrel I have ever owned. That one was a 1-17 and coppered the whole length of it all the while I owned it but it shot wonderfully. ;)
 
Has anyone ever seen a 30BR that didn't shoot?????????
All the ones I have seen are unbelieveable.
I'm not sure one can go wrong with any combination of barrel/bullet.
 
Oh Yes, there are 30's that are a dog too, not as bad as ppc's but you can get bad ones and you have to feed them what they want. If you get a really good one it is as close to idiot proof as this game gets. Steve
