turbo action

in another post, someone stated that the turbo action is a copy of a winchester 52. has anyone made one of these actions into a sporter-style gun (i know, not benchrest-related... my apologies)? i'd like to see some pics if possible. anybody have some?

I don't know about the Turbo but the Hall is available as a sporter with a magazine. Most of the custom actions are similar in layout with with opposed rear locking lugs. The Hall also has an integral scope rail which may be a plus or a minus to you.

The answer is yes, there were/are several rimfire benchrest sporters out there shooting this past season. Turbo has been making sporter actions this year, don't know how many. A friend of mine has one ordered.

Howdy!
I am not trying to be rude, please do not take it that way, but does turbo make a left hand action, do they do it as a single shot, or is there a repeater also? What is the price?

The Turbo sporters (especially those smithed by Gordon Eck) have been in the winner circle quite a bit since they started showing up in the second half of the year. I love mine and, FYI, it feeds from the magazine quite smoothly and reliably. I think you'll see quite a few more of these next season - and for good reason. They are winners!!!
 
great action, looks like they went with a cz magazine.

classified ads had a left hand bolt few months ago built by Borden it shoots

anybody know how to get ahold of him? he had neutral comments about the turbo action that i would like to ask him more about. his id does not accept private messages though. anybody have an email, or gene are you reading this? i'm curious about your opinion of the turbos.

Flash is a prudent manufacturer, you can contact by phone 432-664-1120. Excellent individual to do business with.
 
I talked to Flash a few months ago and he told me he had like 7 L/L actions in stock...might be gone by now though...
