Not sure if it ever was...but it's surely not now. Imagine showing up at a 50/50 match with a squirrel rifle.

I showed up to my first 7 or 8 ARA matches with a real nice squirrel rifle......Rem 541T. LOL. But I did learn some things before buying a bonafide BR gun. Glad I did it that way.
