I am running a Hart base with a Sinclair Mariner wheel. I have a well used Bald Eagle windage top on it. I know most guys run Farley.
How is the Magnum Metal Rest? NEB? I like the idea of dialing up the elelvation. The mariner wheel works ok if you are in the ball park. If not you have to loosen the sleeve and lift your whole rig up then fine tune with the wheel. An elevation knob and a joystick seem like you can be set up much faster. I saw the short comings in my gear shooting at a range with a fairly steep up hill.
I will be starting nest season with a joystick type rest. I like Mr Butches and the Farley compact. Trying to get all the good bad and ugly to make an informed decision from the guys using them in matches.
