Too short a trim length effect on accuracy

I was in a 2 day 4 agg match a couple of weeks ago.
I trimmed brass at the end of the first day.
I was about to trim them today since I have not shot since them
I thought last time I trimmed them to 1.485.
My chamber is 1.50.
HOWEVER when I measured them just now they were mostly in the 1.4825-4830 range.
Is this toooo short. If so could it cause any accuracy problems.

Not at alll....
I have a 1.525" trim lenght on my reamer and trim my brass before each .agg to 1.490"!
- Keep your brass at least .010"++ short of your trim lenght or bad flyers appear...
- Dont get caught up in listening/believing "you're trimming your brass too short"....
Trim-lenght AND neck-diameter (.002"-.003")Clearance is of PARAMOUNT importance in getting your rifle to release the bullet consistently in order to shoot well!
Hope that helps!
Jack

After fire forming I measure the lengths on my Lapua PPC cases and as a general rule they come out around 1.495. I just make sure that they are all trimmed to the same length, and I check them after each two agg match to see if they have moved. No big deal.

Thanks Jack that helps a lot.
I turned the necks to .002 clearance maybe I will return them for .003
and I guess if my chamber is 1.500 I should turn to 1.400?

Vern, what Jack said was .010 short of chamber lenght which would be 1.490 instead of 1.400 if your chamber is 1.500

Thanks for that heads up Charlie.
BUT the reason I put it that way was he said "at least .010++" and that his chamber is 1.525 and turns to 1.490 which means he turns his to .035 short.
I figured that if I turned to 1.480 that it would b e.020 short if I have done the math right, not the 1.400 typo. Not quite the .035 he cuts off.
Have I done the math wrong this time?
