We will have our second Club Match at Tomball June 1st, gates will be open at 6:am. we will try to get started at 8:am, but will not start untill all shooters are ready.
We will have the same three classes. Factory, Modified, and Benchrest.
We need more Factory and Modified shooters. At our first match, we had plenty of Benchrest Shooters, only a few Factory and Modified shooters. From the beginning, our main aim in having these matches was to promote Benchrest among shooters who do not own a true Benchrest Rifle, but wish to compete. This is the place to do it. You will be matched against shooters with similiar equipment.
The Format is 100 yards score, we will shoot a regular five match agg at the regulation NBRSA score target. Each match will have a 7 minute time limit. A perfect score will be a 250 25x.
We will have a sight in period that will last as long as nessessary to insure all shooters are comfortable with their zero.
The entry is $15, prizes are ribbons for 1st, 2d, and 3d in each class. Remember, at the end of the four-match series tis year, the top shooter in each class will recieve a shooter of the year award based on his best three matches.
We will keep the match as informal as we can, while insuring a fair playing field for all shooters, and, of course, maintainig the utmost in safety.......jackie
