In my quest to find some liquid solvents that would reduce the cleaning time for my rimfire barrels I think I have finally found two products that do exactly what I have been looking for.
Those two products are from Sharp Shoot R Precision Products.and they are as follows:
1. Wipe Out / Patch Out
2. Wipe Out / No Lead.
Both are FAST. I like em and recommend them.
Instead of patching in the patch out, I first soak a brush, stroke the brush 10 times fore and aft and let it sit for a few minutes. I then patch it out.
I then inspect for lead with my borescope. If I see any, I patch in some No Lead and wait 15 minutes or so and then dry patches, followed by a wet patch of Patch Out, as recommended. Lead turns orange if there is any; easy to see.
