Does anyone else with this model or similar, find the bolt hard to close on most but not all, rounds of Wolf Match target ammo? Also, some rounds I have to push pretty hard just to push it fully into the chamber before,,I can close the bolt do I have a feeding problem maybe? the cheap federal rounds chamber and close easily. Winchester T-22 is a little tight but nothing like the Wolf. Thanks! :)

p5200, you would probably get more useful info on RimfireCentral, lots of Anny fans there. I have several Anschutz of that model or similar, and they all seem to have a notchy feel on closing. Hope this helps.

Some rimfire chambers have very tight or short leades, and are designed so that the bullets are engraved by the rifling when a round is seated in the chamber. Depending on the shape of the bullet it's harder to do this. If the bolt closes easily on an empty chamber that's likely the problem.

Try chambering a round then extracting it, and take a look at the bullet. I'll bet there's more engraving on the Wolf bullet than on the T-22.

Depending on wether or how much you clean this thing, even money you got a fair amount of carbon/lead fouling in the throat. I'd bet everything gets easier if you clean it out and keep it out.

I don't think, it's a fouling problem since the gun has only had about 100 rounds through it. Also,it has been cleaned twice besides the through, cleaning I gave it after taking it out of the box before first shooting. Thanks!
