In reality, Alabama and Auburn are not in the same state. Just ask anybody that lives in what we outsiders know as the state of Alabama.

I had an old girlfriend that went to Auburn, but everybody else said Alabama is the only football team in the great state of Alabama.

Have you seen the papers. Or all the scuttlebut on the internet, facebook, twitter, etc.? The tigers are dying. The coaches are fighting among themselves. The players are literally throwing punches at each other. Rumors about black players against the whiter players and vice versa. And this is all before the game. Pitiful. How the hell can you expect a team to win a game if they're walking around the field wondering what's going on. You're dead in the water.

Roy - I know you aren't comfortable with the outcome of the game but there is an alternate explanation other than LSU didn't bring their "A" game. I'll explain:

But I believe I heard you say (many years back) that you pulled for Alabama over Tennesse. Anyway its still god to see you are a ROLL TIDE man

Wilbur, I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but I don't like either one, except LSU when they play Ole Miss. Ima Tulane fan. I'm sorry about that too.

Well since I am an Oklahoma State fan, it just ticked my rear to see ole Les Miles get a good shelacking. That sob denigned even talking or thinking about going to LSU. Right up to game day in our bedlam series with OU. Then just dumed it all in Gundy's lap and left. Already had his bags packed. Now with Gundy getting smarter and smarter and with Boone Pickins money we have a respectable team. Too bad we will be loosing two of our best next year.

I was born in Saraland Alabama, just North of Mobile, so Alabama always has a special place in my heart.

But then I grew up in Port Arthur Tex, which makes me a honorary coon-ass, so I have no problem with LSU.

Maybe in the end it all came down to the most hated man in Louisianna, Nick Sabin............jackie
 
A couple of years ago I moved from Atlanta metro to NW Florida, where Bama fans outnumber FSU & UF fans by 3:1. I had lived here about 6 months before I figured out that the area wasn't full of Atlanta Braves fans. The "A" is the same.

When I tell them I'm a Georgia Tech fan, their faces go blank.
