on one of the other sites about restoring the accuracy of a RF barrel. From my experience with this sort of thing, I agree with what is said there except I have used finer grit. While I don't necessarily agree with the theory of the result of the process, I believe the process can and does restore vigor to older barrels as well as newer ones that foul easily.

New barrels don't foul easily Pete. You've been banging that drum for about five years.
