The Kane Fish and Game Club held their annual Pennsylvania State Championship BR match (and Pie eating contest) this past weekend. The usual cast of 42 characters, including our great friends from Canada, were all on hand to compete and… have a very good time!
Match Director, Steve Timpano, and Range Master Roger Oakes whom kept everyone in-line and ensured we all had fun, as we all witnessed Craig Rowe’s great shooting in winning the Light Varmint Grand Aggregate on his way to winning the 2-Gun championship!
We also welcomed new shooters and NBRSA members, Eric Johnson and Mark Howard, in shooting both their first Group match. With both displaying great potential in shooting some very small groups!
Saturday morning brought some tricky, switching wind conditions for the LV100 aggregate. Dave Bruno put on another one of his schools, in winning the LV100 with a .1736” aggregate.
Here are the top 5 in the LV100 agg.:

2.) Craig Rowe: .1810”
3.) Pando Vasiloski: .1904”
4.) Lacy Tilley: .1906”
5.) Don E. Rosette: .1980”
After a great lunch and some full-calorie high-energy pie… We kicked-off the HV100 agg. with ripening winds, which Bill Mitchell skillfully managed with a .1834” aggregate.
Here are the top 5 in the HV100 agg.:

2.) Craig Rowe: .2006”
3.) Don E. Rosette: .2044”
4.) Dave E. Bruno: .2080”
5.) Peter Smith: .2098”
On Saturday evening, the Kane Fish and Game Club served everyone a great Spagetti dinner with all the trimmings and… more delicious pie, cookies and ice cream! (Howy Levy attended the match just to eat the Klondike Bars!)
Sunday morning brought the start of some very challenging conditions with Hall of Famer, Harley Baker, leading the pack with a 1st place finish in the HV200 with a .2418” aggregate!
Here are the top 5 in the HV200 agg.:

3.) George E. Carter: .2505”
