Sounds good. Nice shooting the other day Bill.

Bill,

We will be announcing Team USA members and locations in the near future.

Our teams will be shooting their scores in the June time frame as range schedules permit.

United States Air Rifle Benchrest is excited about this opportunity for a postal match with a WRABF member association.

He is Dan, he was trying to convince us the other day we need to have 50m matches :)

Yes he is shooting .22 Hornet w/16x scope.I asked him in FX Elite post on the Yellow today Franky.Said he was really under the weather w/flu during shoot

Seems strange Harry would be using a .22 in the LV class. I know he had a decent FWB 300 that would likely be a better choice.

Response to .22 maybe even better w/less wind

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It has been de-tuned down to specs but still has its original sporter stock. I did swap the 12X Leupold I used in the trials for one of the Bushnell 16Xs. Hopefully I may get a more suitable stock fitted before July 1 for the USA/ OZ postal so as to be able to use a front bench type stand I have borrowed. So far I have shot it held both hands over two sand bags. Its a bit of an oddity amongst the $3000 .177 rifles.
I literally got out of bed with the 'flue this Sunday to go to Sydney to shoot in our "B" team in the OZ leg of the World Postal. It copped a tricky swirly wind and I had a poor second target card but my "B" team came second 2191 to our "C" team 2192 with our "A" team on 2183. I was glad to get back home to bed. Anyway our scores are now in for that comp.

I flared the skirts a little on the Monster Stratons for that group Mark. Otherwise they will slide down the Elite ST barrel. They surprised me and that was not the only fair group. The other two were just as good. Give them a try.
Kind regards, Harry.

Well, at 12 FPE those .22 caliber pellets will look like a softball pitch.
