Don't worry, when you hear babies crying and young ladies screaming you will know Chippers in town. Just watch out though, if you see him pull out the Monkey's Foot and the Chicken Beaks you better run, Baaaaad Hoodoo I mean Bad Hoodoo! Best of Luck to everyone, but my money is on "Team USA".

A couple years ago, a Saturday, big ARA match at Livonia, Indiana.....I got up early and decided to clean my XP pistol, get it ready for the big match...

I went to the shop, got my cleaning stuff, wire brushed the bore, dried it out, put a dab of grease on the locking lugs, of the breech bolt, got my bullets ready, checked my wind flags, ate some breakfast, boxed everything up and headed to the big match.....

I'm one of them folks who is always late.....I think it comes from me being so lazy.....anyway, I pulled up to the match about 10 minutes before the first relay, got signed in, paid my entry fee and got my stuff and carried it over to one of the equipment tables behind the firing line......

I unloaded my wind flags, walked them out the range and placed them, three of them.......had to adjust them twice....I'm one of them guys that can't set flags up all in a straight row.....the first time...

Anyway, everyone was about ready to shoot so I walked back to the equipment table, unloaded my Pistol, screwed the bi-pod on and carried it and my sand bag and little elbow pad carpets and bullets to my bench....

The range master called, ready on the right, ready on the left, load, comence fire!

I reached for a round, and as I was inserting it into the chamber, something looked funny......something looked different about my pistol.....you know my friends, an XP pistol does look different without a breech bolt...( I found it on my work bench when I returned home) You can see why they didn't ask me to go......

Good luck Team USA...

Your friend, Bill Calfee

Bill.............................................. .................

I would laugh, but I did that myself one time. I went all the way to Virginia though!! Atleast it gave me an excuse for not shooting good!!:D:D:D

Re-Bill

Well if DJ has forgotten his Bolt he can always borrow a decent rifle :D:D:D

Keep Chipper under control?

Keep ole Chipper under control over the Big Water.

I don't know if it's possible to keep Chipper under control or not, but he'll sure keep it fun and interesting!:p

Lets see now it is 11:00 EST so it is 17:00 in Italy. I wonder if Craig is awake or slept through the first two relays so he would be rested up for tonight.
Has anyone heard anything on how the match is going?

First official match of any kind is Monday. This is an unofficial practice day.

Edit to add: I did see that the Aussy team can't get their equipment out of customs until Monday. Hopefully government red tape won't mess this up.
