The only thing I've found that removes or helps with petroleum based products: Borax I am allergic to gasoline oil and most other petrol products after years of messing with automotive items. Might wix Borax with handcleaner.
I cleaned a very dirty shotgun last night, and wiped down a few more guns with Ezzox (which smells good to me), so the hands got a bit rank. I tried the baking soda + water = paste formula and scrubbed the mitts real good with it. It worked great, and my hands are stank free. I think I have what I was looking for.
