Congratulations to Jim ( Big Snake) Wooten on winning the SSOY title, He and Wayne France had a year long battle and Jim prevailed. The humble one finished 3rd and Herbie Llewellen was 4th and Mike( middle snake) Rippey was 5th and Wayne (little snake) Lewis was 6th with Kim Llewellen in 7th. Orland Bunker and Pete Wass had a good battle in 6 power as well with Orland prevailing. Congrats to all and good shooting. Steve

No finer gentlemen

I had the opportunity to shoot against both Jim and Wayne on several occasions this past year and both are great people as well as being great competitors. Congratulations to both for stellar seasons. Randy J.

It's a pleasure for me

to consider all of these folks as friends with the exception of that Pete Wass. He is a dirty rotten scoundral and I hope never does as well again. :D

Great shooting folks. It's a shame in a way that everyone can't be shooter of the year but the system doesn't work that way. Anyone who makes it into the top ten certainly has earned it. Kudos to all except the aforementioned one. :(

Way to go Jim! Couldn't have been a nicer gentleman than Jim Wooten to win the SSOY.

Congratulations

Scott

congratulations to doc"big snake " wooten, he really worked hard to get his game to the top level, also congratulations to wayne on 2nd place. I meet wayne in summerville @ the SC State Shoot this year when I had scope/zero problems during the warmup match @ 200 yards, he was the first person to offer help, a true gentleman and great asset to the shooting community. It's also good to see the "humble one" and mike rippey in the top 10, rippey was the one that set the hook to drag me into this game, my wallet still hurts,,,,,,,

the wind is my friend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Congrats Jim, on a hard earned and much deserved accomplishment. --Mike Ezell

Jim,
Wow, what a year. Congrats.

And who is that cracking the top 10 this year? Why, it's none other than M.E. hisself! Nice shooting, and thanks for all the help this year.

Cheers,
Keith
