ss or cm ?

You're right Jerry, but we can try! (to be perfect);)

It's too dadburned cold for me to be out there shooting rimfires! I tested one I been working on for a friend on Friday. 48 degrees and 23 percent humidity, and thats' too cool and too low humidity to tell how it'll shoot in warmer weather. Best groups was in the low .1 range but may shoot worse in different conditions. Just hard to tell with wax lubed bullets, they don't like cold.
Take care of yourself and stay warm over there! Come on out and shoot some RF this year! Never saw you over there last season at all! Bring Carmicheal too.

RAD,
Thanks but please take it easy on my friend Mr. Sharrett! He's one of my favorite uncles! He was just ribbing me and that was all. All in fun!

Pal, you don't need to apologize to this brainless ape. Machining comparison between different steels has absolutely nothing to do with properly machined and finished final product.Rad

Just where did you come from, jerk???? You weren't invited into this discussion between Kent and I.

You guys got too good for me. Do you realize that the Bristol and you NC guys dominate the rf benchrest world.

Jim just retired and we are planning on checking you guys out this year. But, I'm getting him into the 600 yard game, I hope.

(We're just ran mike in co's thread in the ditch---sorry mike, we'll hush)

i dont mind POSITIVE side talk, you guys are a wealth of info to me.
thanks
mike
