Just currious, what are you guys doing as far as maintaince on your speed screws in your rest. I shot a match this weekend and tempratures was in the low 40's to high 30's. Well, I was having problems with my speedscrew. The unit was hard to turn. I found that the white lithium grease installed at the factory had gotten hard and turned into a hard wax like substince. I also found that the center post was sticking to the top, and was locked up and not spinning freely. I cleaned all of it out, and put new greases in the unit. I was just currious what others was using or doing. With the topic what other maintaince things do you do to your rest, and at what intervalls?

Go lower

Try and get a lower NLGI grease. 0 or 1 would work fine as there is no RPR to consider.
Also look at the Finish Line greases found at bicycle shops which have teflon.
Or there is the moly greases.
So many choices--so little time

Chain lube with moly (BRC I think) foams when applied then dries. This stuff does NOT come off, so watch what you spray it on or comes in contact with when wet.
