So, what happend at the IBS 1,000 yard nationals at Iowa?

Unless it rained, according to the schedule, they should have been finished over 24 hours ago.

Guess we get spoiled by the point-blank reports -- Daily updates, and winners announced the same day they're finished.

Hi Charles,

Probably sometime tomorrow, Lee will post the results.

We had about 80 shooters and almost 50% DQ'd the first or by the end of the second day, in either light or heavy gun. We did get all 4 targets shot and everything went smoothly.

I can't remember all the winners but I do remember that Ed Nazy of Indiana won most of the Heavy Gun. One accomplishment of note was that Shannon Ammerman shot three (3" groups and one 4" group) in light gun. It would have been an amazing feat on a calm day, let alone what we were shooting in.

She shoots fast, doesn't she! I watched her shoot a 10-shot group in about 20 seconds at the World Open. Head to the stock & it never leaves until the last shot is gone.
