Hello All,
If anyone would know the answer to this question it would be you guys.
My question is, is there anyone still sleeving remington actions?
thanks for your help,
Glenn

There probably are gunsmiths that will do this but it is no longer economical to go this route. I had one done a few years ago and it cost $500 to accurize the action and install the sleeve (this included the cost of the sleeve) You can figure at least $300-$350 for the action so you easily have over $800 in a action that will not be worth near that if you want to sell it. Today there are several very good custom actions available for this price and the custom actions will be worth much more down the road. If you have you mind set on a sleeve then contact Greg Tannel in Colorado and he likely can do the work.

Thanks for the information. For that amount a good custom action is well within that range. THANKS AGAIN!!:D

Beginski Sleeves

The Beginski sleeves are very nice. Same footprint as a Panda I believe.

Action Sleeve

Brownells has my sleeves in stock. They are Speedy's design and I make them from 7050-t7451 Kaiser material. Let me know if I can help. You can reach me at my shop 562-602-5553.
Thanks
John Loh.

What is the does sleeving the action do? Does it go over the action itself and act like a recoil lug? As you can tell I am new, Just started learning all this stuff.

what is the sleeve listed as/under.
a search of brownell's under sleeve was unproductive.

thanks
