Should this system be offered to the general public?

How many of the general public do you think can afford one? The ones that can could get one if they were outlawed anyway.

Why not?? are supposed to be a free country with the right to keep and bear aren't we??

We are also, in a free society, supposed to be responsible and accountable for our actions.......now where did I imagine that?

We all know our Great White Father in Washington knows best...they tell us!!

I'm saddened and offended that you had to ask..... I'm offended that anyone would judge others' ability to own one, or their right to.

It's no wonder we've lovingly invited a giggling child and his goggling sycophant into the White House, twice.

WE ARE OUR OWN WORST ENEMY!

Yes, I think everybody that wants one should have it. It appears to be a bridge for those that don't wish to study the drop of their rifle. Good product if it works. Pretty soon there's gonna be nowhere a Whitetail can hide. I'm waiting on somebody to modify one of those game cameras to recognize a deer and hook it up to a claymore.

Hmm!

Meat seeking missile. Just saves time. You can do the same thing with a range finder and a adjustable eleavation. Did it say anything about wind?

No, it didn't...and I missed a 1K target nine feet to the right. Saw the dirt fly about half way between frames. I asked Charles E. how far apart the frames were and he said "18 feet". Got out my calculator, divided 18 by 2 and it came back with 9.....so 9 feet. A deer wouldn't even quit grazin' over that kinda shot.

Grazing

I think a terrorist would,,,,, stop grazing I mean. HFV

I know this isn't a hunting forum........... but this MUST be a "hunting question?" It's getting "hunting" and "ethics" answers.

So here's my conundrum. I teach Hunter Ed, I teach ethics to fine young minds. And my message is this, "most of us are carnivores, some of us choose to harvest our own meat. ETHICALLY we should do this cleanly and consistently and if it's important to us we should minimize the "suffering" of our quarry. In this light, use enough gun and use it well.... "One Shot, One Kill" ........"

Does anyone here disagree with this ethic?

So what exactly is one saying when one promotes "give the game a (better, "fair," "fighting,") chance?"

What one IS doing is promoting more lost and wounded game.

Now myself, I'm not prone to anthropomorphism so I'm not too awfully concerned about the animals "feelings"....... but I am about quick and clean.

SHOOT the animal, don't shoot at it.

Gentlemen, based on the answers received, which included the predictable movement off topic, the survey was a success and as a result I won a $10 bet. Thanks! :D

I don't think it is suitable for provided to the public. It is only for a few, if some bad people use it to do, what would you do?

Abintx: I seen another ad for this system thinking to myself that I would love to test something like this at 1000 yards! the add says it allows for wind. So while reading comments at the bottom, some jerk writes, Wouldn't that be something if one of these nutcase shooters gets one of these and starts shooting people at 1200 yards. I wanted to throw up. Here I'm think like a target shooter, and this dumb a$$ is saying its for killing people. Thats why we have a bunch of Dumb A$$ people making or laws, and telling people guns are not used for anything good. People better start waking up before its too late!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the primary use of this system is to hunt two legged animals. A .338 Lapua is a bit overkill on a deer...
