I am just getting into 600 yard benchrest shooting, and plan on giving the factory class a try this year. I'm currently shooting a 308 with 175 SMK bullets. You can call me a wimp, but after a few rounds, the old shoulder starts getting sore. Is there a shooting vest that anyone reccomends that can take the sting out of the recoil? The rifle already has a good recoil pad, so I'm thionking a lightweight shooting vest might make shooting the 308 a little bit more pleasurable.
