Shilen Customer Service

I recently obtained a Remington 40X rimfire that had a Shilen Competition trigger on it. Try as I could, I could not get the trigger under 6-7 oz.. I called Shilen and spoke with "Mark" and asked if Shilen could rebuild the trigger and the cost. Mark said that Shilen triggers are guaranteed for life and to send the trigger to him and he would look at it.. The trigger was sent in on 6-12-08 and I received the trigger back today, completely rebuilt and adjusted to 2 oz. Total cost was absolutley nothing, zero, nota. Mark even followed up with a phone call wanting me to let him know when the trigger arrived and if I was satisfied with it.

I am very impressed with Shilen's Customer Service. My phone calls were handled very professionally and courteously. This is definitely a company that stands behind their products, and will receive more of my business in the future.

Fine Folks

You would have to search far and wide to find a finer bunch of people than the Shilen Crowd. They are very down to earth, and know, and understand, their market very well........jackie

I'm shooting my second Shilen .30 cal barrel now and its a very, very good one. I just bought one Shelley had them making for him before his untimely passing. Others in the shooting industry that stand behind there products 110% include Leupold, NightForce, Burger and Rock Creek, among others I'm sure. It's sure nice when you have a bonafide problem with a product you don't get one sort or another of a pure, unadulterated hand washing response. jmho. --greg

Just to add to what you said, anyone can sell a product. The reputation builds after the sale in service and customer satisfaction. When you have a problem, your problem is acknowledged and handled professionally, you are satisfied and pass this info. along. The company earns a loyal customer who will provide 'word of mouth' advertising at ranges, shoots, sporting goods stores, etc. All the glossy advertisements in gun magazines cannot compare to this type of advertising. Conversely, if you spend good money and get screwed by the company that produced your product, you do all the above and never buy from that company again. The company loses to the competition.
