Shelby County Fall Finale Match This Weekend....! Free Surf and Turf Dinner!

Guys...
Please don't put away your rifles just yet... Shelby County Deer Hunters Assoc. in Port Jefferson, OH will be hosting their 79th annual Fall Final Classic Group match.
Weather should be very nice all weekend in the low 80's with no chance of rain and..... Jeff Gaidos has generously agreed to sponsor his first annual Surf and Turf dinner at the club Saturday evening! Wow! How could you not attend? Regrettably.... space is limited to the first 200 shooters... so please get there early! (Those were the days....)
Rumor also has it, Joe Krupa will be on-hand to sign autographs! There will also be free balloons and Hot Dogs for the kiddees! (Sorry Andy Shiflet, you're too old....)

Will there be any amusments like fire eaters, or motorcycle stunts, or titerope walkers ? How about games where we can win stuffed animals?
I guess I will have to show up, to see what its is all about.

Jack Neary took the two-gun. Ted Heindselman and Danny Pritt shot great also.

And Fred Moreo shot his "tweaked" Savage 110 and actually shot the small group at HV 100 - which I think was a .169 or so. (Will check this once I get the final results in hand).

The surf and turf was awesome; but my truck and shooting equipment are being held by the caterer until payment is made.

I also couldn't get anyone to accept even one of my autographs; even when I upped the price that I was willing to pay for someone to take it.

All-in-all a tough weekend; and the shooting was just the half of it (especially Sunday).

Congrats to Jack, Ted, Danny and Fred; as well as all of the other competitors who showed up braved the weather and shooting.conditions.

Fred finished 3rd in heavy gun 100 yard, and had small group of .169, (I think,I know it was close to that.) he also finished 3rd, in light gun 200 yards. All with a Savage target action. He took home 3 certificates.
