The Unlimited will be shot Saturday morning, followed by the HV Saturday afternoon. ALSO AS WELL! TO ALL WHO ARE COMING. THERE WILL BE FOOD FOR SALE! WE WILL HAVE A CONCESSION STAND WITH HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS AND THE SORT at the range. It was a great day at Unaka!

And that's all you have? It was a wonderful day in Kingston, Tn. a little warm and humid. I heard from my daughter today and it was a great day in Minneapolis, Mn. today as well, my sister said that things are great in Detroit, my nephew said it is a great day in Moline, IL.:confused::confused::confused:

It was a great day at Unaka!
It was not a great day in Durham, North Carolina. Far too humid. And hot. And I had to work...

But enough idle chit-chat. What happened, shooting wise, at the match? As a nobody radio operator said to Halsey at Leyte Gulf, "The World Wonders"

Why no results from shoot?

Bart, Billy, Steve, and Matthew must have shot badly because we have not seen any results of the shoot. Guess they are punishing us that could not attend!

This is long overdue, but hey, I'm busy. lol

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this year possible. Trying to work, and make sure these matches go up to an acceptable level has been one of the most stressful things I've ever done in my life, but having this legacy, this match, this fellowship continue is one of the most important things in my life. It couldn't have happened without you.

Thank you Chris Lee, Dalton Jones, Sean Ewing, Robert Harrison (Bart), Carla Harrison, and Heather Harrison for your hard work. Without you all, this never could have happened, and it's because of you, these matches are possible, and the legacy continues.

Thank you Gordon Earp for your expertise in scoring and just being a fantastic guy. I didn't get to thank you personally after the match due to just staying busy, lol. But you are a huge part of making this match and wouldn't wanna do it without you. Your contributions are spectacular and you are one of the best, so thank you very very much.

Thank you Crystal Honeycutt. I knew when I asked you to be our range officer that I could have chosen no one better, you have far exceeded my expectations and have done a masterful job of calling the match.

And thank you most of all to the shooters who showed up to our matches. Without you, our efforts would be futile, and not worth our time. But to see everyone have a great time in fellowship in competition makes it all worthwhile. I thank you, the region thanks you, and benchrest thanks you. Your support will make our sport exist long past when anyone thought it could.

Congrats to Wayne Campbell for winning the 200 yard stage of the Southeast Regionals and Congrats to Bart Sauter for winning the 100/200 yard 4-Gun. Having you both in our region makes us all better and proud to shoot where we do.

For the past couple of years, the only NBRSA matches I have been able to make have been at Unaka, so it means a lot to me that they have continued in Norman Jones memory. All the folks Matthew mentioned do an awesome job and make sure the match runs smoothly. Matthew recruited and trained Crystal and she does a great job. She also brings a sense of humor to the podium. My thanks to all the folks that continue to make this a great match and that includes you, Matthew.

Congratulations to Bart and Wayne and all the winners. This weekend had some nice conditions resulting in small groups on Saturday as well as some very tough conditions on Sunday. The poor second relay got rained on hard during two targets of the last match. Nothing unusual for Unaka!
