Well, we had an interesting day at Salem for our match yesterday. The weatherman was calling for 6mph winds, but he was off by about 15mph, with constant 5-10mph very switchy winds with gusts to 20+mph that blew our target stands over several times, even with 3' lengths of pressure treated 4x6 posts laid over the feet. There were a couple of outstanding targets shot in those conditions, both by shooters that had not shot that particular rifle outdoors before. Chas DiCapua shot a nice 248-9X with his RAW, and Ed Hosier shot a 231-4X with his FWB 300, both impressive in those conditions!!!
