Throwin' Up Spray
One of my best friends died this morning from ALS. He had done everything right; he ate right, he exercised daily, he kept his weight under control – and he read his Bible and prayed daily.
There are many things about him that I’ll never forget; however, two stand out. First, when my then-wife was battling cancer he said, “I pray for y’all every day”; second, when I first met his wife and we were talking about some subject that I don’t remember, she said about him, “He’s a real man of God.”
He was a caring and loving husband, father and friend. Losing such a friend is sad.
