Roger Avery & Johnny Loric Shoot 25X in NC State Match

Joe

Randy,

Why would you have given him an X? Nobody admitted to the crossfire, and he had two shots on one target, so why wouldn't he have received the lowest score?

I probably overstated my bounds but it is my sense that the group of shooters that I shoot with go out of their way to be accommodating and would not have pushed an issue if a person was adamant about not firing the shot. Maybe my read is incorrect but that is how I would have felt.

Either last year or the year before, I would have had to eat a shot that someone else took although no one fessed up to it. I believe that no one fessed up to it because they didn't realize they did it. The backers showed that I did not shoot the shot and although we were not scientific enough to judge who did the shot, I at least was not penalized. I know that Roger's situation is different in that there were no errant shots, thus all belonged to Roger. My point was simple the importance of backers. Randy J.
