Gordon just put a Metford Barrel on My Sporter First Target 250 18X , 18 Degrees and switching wind. Thank You Gordon and Rock Creek for all the R&D that went into these Metford barrels.
 
Wow you got a great Christmas! You are lucky to have a brother that is a Master at building the Sporters!

Mel, sounds like you and Gordon caught some lightning in a bottle. I can't wait to shoot against it this season. Gordon, you just keep on raising that bar my friend.

Don't know how much i can raise the bar.It sure looks like these new Medfords are going to.
 
As soon as we get a break in the weather update on Sporter & heavy gun both have Metfords

Joe,If You knew how much Money,time and dedication went into what Gordon is doing ,You might not be looking for a free ride.Beg for a gun not crumbs.
 
Gordon is one of the guys out there that knows what he's doing and has tried more than once to share a few kernals. Usually one of the keyboard wizards pipes up with a fair dose of BS.

Only thing would make me crap my paints would be blond "hair" and a pair of big t iddies...... sure wouldn't be no rifle, lol... joe
 
Then you belong on another website/forum. Gordon prefers to let the success of his rifles do the talking. I for one don't know why they shoot so well, (outside of Gordons talent and dedication) just that they do. The only wisdom I needed was the wisdom to place a couple orders with him. Word of warning though, from my experience, Gordon doesn't suffer fools.
