It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Ritchie Friebert after a long battle with cancer.

I received a call from Don Geraci, his father-in-law, that Ritchie died this morning.

Ritchie was well known among benchrest circles in the South East and Gulf Regions.

Arrangements are very tentative at the moment, however they expect that the funeral will be Thursday, February 26, 2015.

And again, tentatively 9:00 am.

I will post again if arrangements change.

praying for the family. always a nice guy. sad news indeed.

Really sorry to hear this, he had just called not to long ago. He never said he was ill. Great guy to be around a lot of fun..

We have lost another valued member of the BR family. Richie not only had talent for shooting but he was a great stock man and bullet maker. He once did a beautiful job of painting my stock and I have shot several types of his bullets. He will be missed. My condolences to the Friebert and Geraci families. We are again diminished. james Mock

How old was Ritchie?

Our prayers and best wishes go out to Richie's family. If it's not being rude to ask, how old was Richie.?

I don't really know James, but I'll ask Don. But I think he was a bit older than Methuselah. :D

Check the classifieds, I'm placing an ad for Geraci today for 2 barrels and a PTG Action Truing Kit with carbide cutters and an extra cutter. These belonged to Ritchie and the family is selling some of his things.

Sorry for taking so long to reply to you guys, but I have a bad case of CRS.

Roy
