Well, hope that got your attention:p
Seriously though, I was reading Jackie's post on the Rem 700 thread, about getting an action, bbl, stock, ect and having the rifle built in a week.
Man, what a pipe dream for a lefty:eek: Somebody stock a left hand action??? Perish the thought!!!!
I bought a rail when the nationals were at raton, ordered an LB action, ( you know who you are:p) waited a year, finally gave up. the old "I know I said 6 months, it will be ready in a couple of weeks. Yea, right )
I ordered 2 more from another maker on 9-12-07, for delivery first week of Feb, guess what? nada
Those of you on the right don't realize how flustrationg this can be. Am I the only one in the land of custom BR actions that leans to the left:D ( Pun intendend, I work for a living)

haaaaaaa!
i have been left eye dominant since day one, but right handed.

so for 50 some years i have shot rifles and shotguns left handed......right hand guns.

two weeks ago for the very first time in my life i bought a left handed rifle...
its a charles daly mini mauser in 223.

i have plans to build several right handed rifles for shooting off the bench, but have considered buyong a couple of lefty actions.

it sucks that most manufactures only build lefty in long actions.......then there is savage.....

Richard, I'm a lefty shooter too and I'll give you more bad news. Once you get the action and build the rifle, should you want to sell it to try something different, it's a very hard item to sell. On the other hand (bad pun) at least you're in your right mind.

I don't know, if all you shoot is benchrest, why would you want one? I'm left-handed and as I look at it, I'm sitting on the "right" side. All these guys get RB LP, why bother if you're a lefty? And you can sell it any time you want no problem. Thanks, Douglas

Left handed

yeah i shoot left handed with a right right. I can shoot fast enough too.
so what the big deal. Some of us have to use the artistic side our brain.
[Pun intended.] how do you think we get those smiley faces ' [referring to the shape of the group:D]

It always seemsd to me

That a Leftie should be able to run a RRR faster than a Rightie. For that reason, I have considered bying a LLR . A rifle with a fairly easy bolt lift that one can hook their thumb under and flip it up; it's all righ in front of ya.

I wouldn't want the same for hunting but for the bench, I think it is worth a shot.

Well, I'm impressed

a lefty that can shoot a right bolt gun!! Who woulda thought:rolleyes: Hmmm, now let me see...... A yugo or a BMW, hmmmm We are talking REAL BR here,
Now, keep your head down, looking through the scope and cycle the bolt, works real nice huh. Of course it can be done!!! Don't you just love the bolt handle right in front of your eyes???:D
