Here are the results of the Washington State 3-Gun held at the Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club Range over Labor Day weekend. The match is in memory of Ed Frombach, a top northwest benchrest shooter in the '60's and early '70's, and then the mid '80's. He was a real character and a tough competitor to beat. so close, yet so far

Thanks Butch, another great Labor Day Shoot in Tacoma.

The Jeffrey's were tough. As some of us faded, they got stronger. Historically, it seems as the winner is determined in the final 200 yd match. This time, Norm just made it his trophy with a terrific finish.

This match has always been a highlight in the Tacoma schedule, along with the Sniper King in July. Good fun, great food and friendship. Always happy to see our Canadian buddies come down for the shoot. And always a little sad to see the end of the season for the Tacoma matches.

But it is not too soon to be looking forward to April '09. The temperature and conditions will probably be much like this weekend's.

Wish I could have made that one, but work as usual is impeding my fun!!!! Will get there next spring, ( maybe May as April was too cold for a canadian prairie boy)!
