I picked up a Remington 40x/700 canjar single set trigger in a trade. What would be a reasonable amount to ask for it when I list it for sale? Any opinions are welcome!

Probably only valuable to a collector as today's Remington aftermarket triggers are much better.

No question there have been better triggers developed since the Canjar for short range benchrest competition. However, I bought a used Canjar single set trigger some 30 years ago for use on a long range prairie dog rifle and still use it today. It is one of my favorite triggers for that application, so I don't consider it just a collector's item. I paid $80 for mine back then. Don't have a clue to today's value. Vic

I have a Buhmiller barrel on a 22 Varminter in a Mauser receiver. It was built in about 1945. It was the best in its day. I had a Canjar in my Mod52 Winchester and it was good.
What I'm trying to say is a modern trigger is as good or better than a Canjar with a cheaper price. I understand Canjar parts are almost unavailable.
