I have a TMBR stock on a 54 Anschutz the bottom of the stock in the rear has a 1/2" flat ,the rear bag I have is a Protektor bunny ear, should the stock bottom out in the bottom of the ears or should it ride up on the ears a bit?
I wonder if you are getting enough rear support with your rear bag. Protektor will make a rear for you with either double or triple stitching to allow for a wider than sporter stock. It might be worthwhile to peruse its site and perhaps talk to someone there about getting exactly what you want.
