Rear Bag Question

When using a stock with a rear flat on the toe like a Meredith, what kind of spacing should you have with the rear bag? Should the bottom flat be in contact or just the left and right edges?

On the original note you will get a lot of different conflicting opinions. What really matters is try it for yourself if you can.
Maybe you could borrow a couple of different ones from buddies and try them out before you buy one.

Keith,I have three stocks with flat bottoms that measure 1/2 to 5/8 wide.
I ordered a three stitch bag from Protektor that has a 5/8 '' spaceing between the ears at the bottom of the ears, this bag works good for me.
