Joe,

Take your gear when you go. May as well shoot too. Nobody will notice your scores, unless you win. You'll learn more at that match than you will in a month at home. Don't wait a couple months either!

Good advice. Its amazing what one can learn by chatting and observing at a major shoot. Rimfire br guys are always willing to help, offer advice, loan equipment etc etc. That is until you start to win....then they come to you for that advice etc.

You might well learn the most from the guy sitting at the next bench. If you don't enter and shoot you miss that experience. bob finger

There's a shoot in Waco on sat. at 9:00 and then another at Dan's place at 6:00.Be a great way to get in 12 targets in a day. Hope you can both make it. Don't ccomplain about the distance I'm Flying 2000 miles and driving another 600 so make plans and cone on. See you there. Fred

I sure hate to miss these shoots, but my New Marine Grandson is in town and it will be our only chance for the whole family to get together for a visit before he's back at Camp Pendleton for more intense training. Will see you somewhere this year I'm sure.
