I found no joy in Holbrook with either of my Air Rifles that were previously tuned using PRX. I was able to make the EV2 shoot a bit better by moving the tube but not to where it would reliably shoot good scores. I tried a borrowed Air Stripper that made whopping group sizes, a second smaller tube I had made along with the original tube. Both rifles had shot remarkably well outdoor in the wind and were one tiny hole repeatedly in my 60' garage. Of course, the temps were higher when they were shooting well.
It is feeling to me as if the same situation that caused RF rifles to not shoot well indoors is at play with the Air Guns. I am thinking it is not solely related to tuning the barrel; once and it is in tune forever. There is more to it to be discovered. Obviously some folks have figured out the indoor secret but it isn't widely publicized, is it?
