Photos of my trigger guard for a Pierce receiver

Beautiful metalwork. Very impressive!

Butch, you're like a five years old retard with a mobile phone that has a digital camera in it. Who do you want to impress? A trigger guard,,,,,a front sight ramp,,,,, what a big deal. A first year apprentice/trainee toolmaker will make one of each in 0.001" tolerances using just a bench drill, hacksaw and set of files. Pal, if you want a medal you need to wait for Bush to come back home to Texas and take your pants off and bent over. Rad.

We look forward to seeing the pictures of your work. Are you a first year apprentice/trainee toolmaker?

Are you a first year retard?

We do not treat our fellow members of these forums as you do in your post. Fact is the only time abuse is placed on anyone is when they write as you have.

Kindly remember that many of us have formed a friendship with Butch through this forum. I do not take kindly you your aspersions to a long time and highly regarded contributor like Butch.

Unfortunately John, he comes from your country. I have enough mates in Oz, so I don't judge the rest of you by him. He does liven things up! I sure would like to see some of his masterpieces. Rad has several alias and if you search his post you will find a person with no self esteem and gets his rocks off trying to demean the guys on this forum.

Maybe we could see a few examples of your work. Or is it all done badmouthing others.

Those who badmouth the good work of others are usually incapable of doing anything well themselves. Many of us who can't do work the caliber of some others on this forum spend our time appreciating that work, not demeaning it or those who did it.

So Butch,
When you get the Pearce build complete, you're going to give it to your grandson so that he doesn't have to use the Rem Seven to harvest whitetails?!?!?!

Dan,
I have been so busy carrying my Brownie Hawkeye camera around to take pictures for Rad.
I have a 600 that I'm going to start on soon for my 10yr old Grandson. Damn I have a bunch of them. Just had my first Great Grandchild last week.
I'm going to meet Mike Bryant in Lubbock, Tx. this weekend and will give him the receiver to be worked on. I will do an Anschutz bolt release after getting it from him. I will use a Kiff bolt and will send it to you,Dan, to tig a good bolt handle on. I will chamber it in 6X47L with a reamer that Pat Byrne spec'd for me. I need a Mod7 or a 600 glass stock for him.
I don't know what I will do with the Pierce other than hunt with it.
Butch
