Interesting thread

I'm telling you, this site is a veritable cornucopia of interesting creative people. We start out with an inside neck turning question and end up talking about Dr. Zeuss and ee Cummings with good natured humor. There were no attacks or condescending tones, just a bunch of regular guys talking and having fun; learning something in the process. Not only are all aspects of firearm accuracy covered but areas like comedy, wit, satire, are all woven into this synergistic tapestry. A magazine could not approach the real time world of depth and experience many on this site share.

Then we took a micro boring bar and inside neck reamed the cases. With a pin guage in the case mouth we got less than .0005 inches of runout. If you have the access to a lathe then this is the way to go.

This is a very good method as long as you have zero runout on the chucked bushing. If you have a tru-adjust chuck then no issue at all to get zero runout.
