Optics question

What are push/pull turrets? I have visions of pulling up the cap and turning it for adjustment then pushing it back down when done. http://www.bushnell.com/general/riflescopes_elite6500_65-4305md.cfm

I'm wondering if this scope turret set up would be a PITA piece of junk or possibly something that is sound and functional. Anyone check one of these out?

I have no idea, but sounds like the turrets might be mechanically attached to the erector tube thather than relying on just spring pressure to hold the erector tube against the turret abutments. Just a guess........jackie
