older benchrest cartridge

Anyone know who is actively shooting or even once shot the 222-35 cartridge?

I recently had a 20Extreme (wildcat off the 222) built by Kevin Weaver and I'd like to shoot some heavier bullets with the 222 case. Since I have plenty of Lapua 222 and don't mind neck turning, I think an improved 222 case would work just fine.

I'm struggling finding active shooters of this cartridge to potentially get some multi fired cases to send to Dave Manson for my finish reamer. Dies may be a bit of problem too, but custom is the path I intend anyway.

Thank you

Many of the older BR cartridges make excellent varmint rounds.

I have barrels in .22-250 AI and 6mm REM AI for varmint hunting.
Mostly used on groundhogs, and maybe an occasional crow.

I did hit a coyote a few years ago that startled when I killed a groundhog.

It was a truly dumb coyote.
It ran from cover into my field of fire, then paused before taking cover.

Not far at all from the groundhog 'parts.'
I had managed to load another round and picked him off.
