I bought some Nosler .260 Rem brass (nobody else but Remington makes and the Remington stuff is junk). It loaded and shot good as it came out of the box but the necks were too thin -.0125-.014 and wouldn't hold a bullet as they came sized out of my full length dies! This is in a tight neck .260 too!
Nosler had me send them some cases. They called to say that it is "within specs" and to get a tighter bushing! When I told them it was the full length die too. He told me to get a new full length die!
I called Forster and asked them about the die. The tech muttered something about it probably being that #$%! Nosler brass! That pretty well clinched it for me. I bought 100 rounds of expensive brass that was good for ONE firing. I am done with Nosler period; no more brass and no more bullets. They are just another company out there that thinks they can rest on their laurels and that they sh!t doesn't stink.
I will just go back to making it out of Lapua .243 brass.
Also- Nosler brass is made by more than one vendor- Federal being one of them.
