New pressure on 2nd Amendment

Kutztown Univ in Pa has just ruled that concealed carry holders can carry guns on campus open areas. What? That sounds weird, right?
They were told that their complete campus ban violated the 2nd amendment. So now a armed person can walk around outside, but enter no buildings.
I can see the skulls full of mush working themselves into a hysterical frenzy over the evil 2nd amendment that is making them less safe. Next will be dopey demonstrations with news coverage and some political hack jumping on board to attack the 2nd amendment.
Over the age of 21, a person can carry a holstered firearm (no cp needed) around the campus. I can just picture that dust up with screaming and 911 calls.

The next time some nitwit claims that the Second Amendment should only apply to flintlocks, remind them that the First Amendment should then only apply to Town Criers, and hand cranked printing presses. Their cell phones, e-mails, and video games are all not protected, then.;)

And why not!

Thank you Francis, that brightened my day for real! :)

Congress's powers were zapped by Executive Privilege for Fast and Furious information...oh, this time it's the First Amendment, now we're serious....

And now, as is usual Holder, Obamy and the rest are all busy playing the I know nothing cards
Ya got I/2 dozen Rag heads from 4 different states sneaking around the water supply of Boston together in the middle of the night, all here on student visas, one is a chemical engineer. And they let them go? The priorities of those in places of trust/security/ law enforcement sure are screwed up something fierce. The list gets a lot longer but my blood pressure is already too high.

My son just graduated from Kutztown Uinversity. Lots of good kids there. I am positive there will be the same bloodbath they had in Wisconsin when concealed carry was passed. Get a clue, people. They guy who started this thread is not on our side. If you are afraid of letting people defend themselves you are not a supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Period.

We all know what returning fire does to a lunatic. I'd rather the qualified kids be able to carry than some of the profs, though. . . .

....................... I'd rather the qualified kids be able to carry than some of the profs, though. . . .

WHY?

You think some of the prof's may go postal?

I say this for ONE REASON....... your statement plays into the anti's camp in that it sets up a "fitness program" for concealed carry. Please don't take what I'm saying as an indictment on your opinion, I'm just pointing out that we need to be careful in judging others.

It is my opinion that there should be no "right to carry" restrictions on non-criminals. It is my opinion that EVERYONE should be able to carry a loaded gun unless they've proven NON-fitness by committing a crime.

I believe our forefathers were really onto something in their "innocent until proven guilty" verbiage!

And let me just bulge my bully pulpit a little with "In Fact, I think those guys were REALLY ONTO SOMETHING with the entire setup and document!" :)

Let Freedom Ring!

(((Sounds trite doesn't it? We're a bunch of spoiled pansies!)))

You miss read the point I was making; the absurdity of allowing people to be armed but not enter buildings. Are they then confined to the lawn and sidewalk?
That campus (and most others) would go nuts if you walked across the common area with a revolver strapped on you hip. It's a liberal hot bed who are knee-jerk reactionists on anything guns.

Times change, I see. I went out with a girl from Kutztown State back in 1960, the Dean of Women didn't allow hand holding on campus, then. Required classes in Etiquette, manners, and poise for women. Egad!
