I need assembly/disassembly instructions for a Baretta Model AL2 semiauto shotgun, made in the early 1970's. The baretta site is useless. Anybody have such they could send me copys of ?
Thanks,
Bill B.

If I can recall, the takedown is like about any other semi-auto shotgun, much like a Remington 1100. I don't remember any special tips or tricks.

Unscrew the nut at the end of the forearm.
Pull forearm off towards the muzzle.
Remove the bolt handle with a tug.
Pull the action rod & bolt out through the front.

These are great shotguns. I've owned one for 25 years, but don't shoot it anymore.

Good luck!

Pretty simple design

Weedog is correct. Very similar to Remington 1100 design concept, though more robust on some of the parts. If you search online for Rem 1100 info, you'll be able to take it down. Go to Shotgun World, or something like that it's called, and you'll probably find info about it.

The Gun Digest Shotgun Takedown book probably has a write up about that style of gun too. Good luck!

Go to "e-gunparts.com" that is Numerich Arms website...they have schematics on just about all shotguns...

I have had one since 1970 . i still shot it. it does come apart like an 1100

Thanks for the responses. I have sent queries to a few parts suppliers and am waiting for answers as to availability and prices. The closest match seems to be a Browning B-80. Whatever.
