NBRSA Nationals-What happened today?

Jeff
I already e-mailed Lou and hopefuly he will post the results.

At Sacramento our Match Directors Son has set up a pretty nice system and the results are available for me to post immediately after a match. The delay is usually me driving home and getting online.

Maybe a volunteer could be found with the condition he/she can't do it more than twice a year and no two matches in a row? This would avoid the burnout and spread out the workload.

:rolleyes:Hmmmm...lets see the individual target results are entered into a computer program and that program develops a printout for the match attendees to see at the completion of each yardage:eek:
I'll bet that those match results could be attached as a file and emailed just about anywhere there is internet access:rolleyes:
Naaah...computer technology just isn't there yet...maybe in another decade or two..:D
By the way this reply was sent to this forum 9-23-1989;)
So you could see it today...

You are absolutely correct. You can use Adobe Professional software and convert the print document into a PDF document that could easily be emailed and/or posted to websites without breaking a sweat. It is a very easy to accomplish.

Again, I wish I had coordinated with Dennis Thornbury early on and had this wired. I'll try to get something put together with Gary Ocock for the Cactus that will give everyone daily reports and updates.

Had my I phone there, but did little good. There was barely enough cell phone signal to text message much less conect to internet. Cell phone was usually searching for signal, most I could get was 1 bar which would sometimes send texts. Josh and I were in Pizza Hut one night. Waitress thought I was texting and thought it funny an old man texting instead of Josh. I was responding to e-mails on their wireless connection. Sure beat having so many to answer today. Have a little trouble getting my fingers on the home keys though.

John Parker sent me the database yesterday. I have a couple of questions to ask him before posting, but should have the complete results posted later today including equipment list.

Thanks for your work on this. I look forward to see the list later today.

AT&T users were not able to connect unless you were at the top of the hill, or nearly so. Verison did great. The club has WiFi in the clubhouse. NETGEAR
