I heard Chad Schmidt won the 100 yesterday with the only 250 shot - but haven't heard anything else. Anybody got more information?

its good to see someone rememberd this major National event,,,,,the score shows that the targets dont need changed to make it any tuffer!!!,,,,this is the way score shooting was meant to be,,,,,and it allowed lil' unorganized clubs with no moving backers to put on an event, even a Nationals......im glad there werent dozens of 250's like you get with 36x (or bigger) scopes,,,,,congrats Chad and thank you Stanley......Roger

Short update from day 2. (sorry for any misspellings)
200 yd winner was Wayne Corley
T.K. Nolan was the 100 & 200 Grand winner

The person who gave me the scores stated that the conditions have been pretty tough. Sorry I am not able to give credit to all the Hunter shooters who are at the Nationals.

Congrats to T.K. Nollan!!!

100-200 Grand Top Ten
1. T.K. Nollan 2012 NBRSA Hunter National Champion
2. Wayne Corley
3. Joe Hemkins
4. Wade Hunnewell
5. Ray Perry
6. Al Nyhus
7. Chuck Hearn
8. Jerry Kloeppel
9. Boyd Dartez
10. Tom Hencken

Chad Schmidt won the 100 with the only 250 shot (250-9X). Wayne Corley won the 200 with a 247-9X...good shooting!

Randy Robinett, Jim Minnig and myself traveled together and only shot the 100-200 before heading home. The 200-300 Long Range starts today with the 200.

The 200-300 Long Range is now done. I do not have teh top 10 as I was too stupid to grab a sheet. But the winners of the events were:

James Lederer 200 LR
Greg Swezey 300 LR
Tom Hencken 200-300 LR ( new HOF member as aresult)
Wayne Corley 100-200-300 winner
Joe Henkens 100-200-200-300 Top Gun winner

This was one of the hardest fought HBR Nationals I have been to since 2000. Points were dropping like flies in an insecticide factory. Conditions did not "look" that bad, but a hold for a 10 at 200 could well get you an 8 if you did not see it right. And 300 yards was commensurately worse. A great time was had by all.

I personally want to that Jerry Kloeppel and Wayne Corley and Clark Green, and the scoring and target crew for the tremendous job they did to pull this one off. Never a stumble or a misstep!! Those of you who decided to stay away, for whatever reason, missed a great Hunter Nationals. DON'T miss next year in Kansas City. It will be the first NBRSA Score Nationals 2 Gun, both HBR and VFS. Third week of August. BE THERE!!!!!!!

David

Just curious how many shooters attended the nationals? Is the number of competitors still trending down?

Good shooting guys,, I stopped by the range Sunday the wind was still switching. They was shooting a six hundred yard match and all of "Those words". Were being used!, LOL
