Apparently there are rumors circulating about the NBRSA Group Nationals possibly being cancelled. This is not the case.

Unless the situation changes the nationals will happen as scheduled Sept 28 thru Oct 3.

Apparently not a lot of people have pre-registered including a number of people I know who are definitely going.

If you are planning to go please call and let them know so they know how many to plan for.

Here is the contact info.

Steve, there is no doubt that there is some apprehension. At the moment, it does not seem as if the Covid 19 situation is going to abate any time soon. In Texas, we are a “hot spot” so to speak.

As you might know, both Marilyn and I contracted and recovered from Covid 19. We are signed in, have a RV spot reserved, and are hoping to attend. But I also want to do the reasonable and prudent thing. You have to admit, having a large group of mostly older people from all over the Country gather in one spot at this time might compel some to take pause.

Frankly, I am surprised that the Saint Louis Club has not stepped in. The reason the Short Range Score Nationals were cancelled is because the Club where the event is held said no. Our home club at a Tomball more or less cancelled our entire shooting season. I am sure other clubs through the Country have had to make similar decisions.

I hope to be there. But none of us knows what will be happening between now and the end of September.
