Most popular 6PPC action

im thinking of getting a new 6PPC LV built, and wondering what is the goto action these days? I see a lot of Bat and Stolle actions. What about Borden actions? Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

if you research the equipment list from the nationals or any other big match you will likely see that bat and borden are the top two

Most guns on the line seem to be BAT DS

Bat is most common, both are great actions

Just my 2 cents but Bat, Borden and Kelbly are safe bets that you can't go wrong with using. I'm a Borden fan but there are several more options out there today and some are good. Those three have proven good quality and since most are familiar with them and know that, they have good resale value. Pick one of those three and you'll be very satisfied, IME.

Michael, the options can sure get a little overwhelming, can't they?

Give each company a call and ask about options. You'll find Jim Borden especially helpful and willing to answer questions and give guidance.

When considering a drop port using a joystick rest keep in mind where you like to position your hand. The brass may bounce off it. I briefly had one and went back to a 2 port with a tuned ejector spring. I am sure I could have modified my system to use it, I didn't want to. There have been some new models showing up from Borden & Bat on the top end, they are well out of my budget but if I had the bucks and were doing a new build, it would be hard not to consider one.....Personally, I am running a Hall a Bat 3L a Panda, and a Bat CT on my BOOMER.
