I just got off the phone with match director Mike Conry and he says the Buffalo Shoot is ON for this weekend.

I checked a weather forecast on Weatherbug for Midland. It's showing Saturday, a 30% chance of rain with wind from the north at 10 mph, temps in the mid 80's. Sunday, a 20% chance of rain with highs in the mid 70's. No mention of wind on Sunday, but I'd bet there will be some. I hope to get there on Friday in time to shoot a little and am looking forward to it. Tired of building a house and ready to do some shooting.

At the time I posted this, the track of Ike was more to the west. Now it is making a bee line for my house. I sure hate to miss the match. Take care during the storm...............GW
