Medical Report on Bob Estes

Everybody at our last two Gulf Coast Region Matches has asked about Bob's health.

The only thing most know is that he is undergoing Cancer treatment.

There is good news to report. I talked to Bob today, and he said that the kind of Cancer that he is being treated for is very similiar to the Cancer that Lance Armstrong was cured of. While it spreads rather quickly, it is very treatable, and the cure rate is well above 80 percent. His doctors indicated that he is responding to the teatments well.

He has taken some radiation, and has now started a battery of Chemo Therapy treatments. There is no doubt that he is in for an uncomfortable time, but his spirits are high, and he feels like he is on the road to recovery.

This is good news. Bob is a great Shooter, and a good friend, and most of all, a good man. Remember him in your prayers, and hope that he will be back on the firing line soon..........jackie

I have not been on here in a while and this is the first I have heard of this. You know how work goes in the construction industry.You gotta jump on it while the jumping is good

I sure hope that you get back to pulling the trigger real soon and you come back stronger than ever.

I didn't know you were ill until I saw Jackie's post. We'll be saying some prayers for your quick recovery. Hell, at our age I think that everybody is praying for everybody, and probably not a bad idea !

Talked to Bob a little bit ago. He said things are going well. He will be doing Chemo and radiation and will be in the hospital for a while. Bob said he still had a whole lot of targets that he hasn't shot yet and intends to get after it.
Told him he was in our thoughts and prayers.
